AENA, has been officially awarded with the management contract for Corvera airport.

Apparently, the new airport could theorically been opened before the end of 2018. The government gave its approval of a 25 years contract.

Now, some issues will need to be sorted with the Air Safety Agency. This authorisations should be in place before the next summer, so the airport can open before the end of 2018.
